Where spot illustrations help
An empty inbox, a first login, a failed upload: these screens are easy to forget and easy to make cold. A small illustration with one clear idea makes them feel finished and tells the user what to do next. On marketing pages, spot illustrations break up text and explain features faster than a paragraph.
Empty states
A friendly scene and a clear next step when there's nothing to show yet.
Onboarding
A short sequence that explains the first few things to do.
Errors and 404s
Something light for a moment that is otherwise frustrating.
Feature sections
Scenes that show what a feature does on a landing page.
Matching your icons
Spot illustrations work best when they share rules with your icon set: the same stroke weight or fill style, the same color palette, similar corner rounding. We usually design a style test with one scene and three icons side by side before drawing the rest.
People in illustrations
If your scenes include people, we discuss how they are drawn early: simplified figures, varied skin tones and body types, and poses that suit your audience. Some teams prefer objects and abstract shapes only, which also keeps translation and localization simple.
Files you get
SVG and PNG files at the sizes you use, plus source files. Light and dark versions are available when your product has both themes.
Questions
Do you use AI to make the illustrations?
Client illustrations are drawn by hand in vector tools. The sample photos on this site are AI-generated and labeled as such.
Can you illustrate for print as well?
Yes. Vector files scale for print; tell us the print sizes and color requirements.
Need a set, not a single drawing? Tell us where the assets will be used, how many you need and the look you already have.
